Who can I use my benefit for?

You may use your benefits for short term care for your own needs, your children for whom they are the parent/guardian, adult dependents, or their coparent/spouse.

Your benefits may provide coverage for a variety of family members, which can include but are not limited to:

• A family member that lives in your home for whom you are the parent/guardian; your child, stepchild, foster child, grandchildren
• Yourself, or your coparent/spouse for adult/elder care (this can vary with your benefits)         
• Your mother, father, or mother-in-law/father-in-law for adult/eldercare
